What this court deals with

Before you send or go

  • ✓This is a processing centre, not a court you can visit. GOV.UK's listing says it is not open to the public and is not a hearing centre.
  • ✓GOV.UK's guide to making a money claim says a paper claim form N1 is sent here by post, with a cheque or postal order for the court fee. Claims made online are a separate route and do not use a paper N1.
  • ✓The centre publishes a separate email inbox for each kind of document: directions questionnaires (N180), claim responses and defences, requests for judgment (N225), applications with a fee (N244), change of address, and EX160 forms filed after the fee was paid. The addresses are in the email list above.
  • ✓The CNBC phone number is not the number for the Traffic Enforcement Centre or the Centralised Attachment of Earnings service. Those are different services with their own lines, and Welsh speakers have a separate number.
