File online in bizfile Online, or by mail?

Online: sos.ca.gov offers Statement of Information filing in bizfile Online. Since August 1, 2026, web User Access is required, and the online option is only visible to users who have set it up. Check sos.ca.gov for how to request access. Paper: sos.ca.gov says all business forms can be submitted by mail or in person, so the LLC-12 PDF is still a valid route. An updated statement should be filed whenever your information changes between the regular filing periods, and sos.ca.gov publishes a schedule of the six-month filing window by month of formation or registration. RepeatForm prepares the PDF you check in the preview. It does not file anything with the Secretary of State. To file or find where to send it, use sos.ca.gov.

Several LLCs, one set of details

If you manage more than one California LLC, the people and addresses they share usually repeat from one statement to the next. Upload a completed LLC-12 for one LLC and a blank LLC-12 for another, and the matching manager, address and agent details carry over. The LLC name and entity number differ between LLCs, so check and edit them in the review step before you preview.
