File online in bizfile Online, or by mail?

Online: sos.ca.gov offers Statement of Information filing in bizfile Online. Since August 1, 2026, web User Access is required, and the online option is only visible to users who have set it up. Check sos.ca.gov for how to request access. Paper: sos.ca.gov says all business forms can be submitted by mail or in person, so the SI-550 PDF is still a valid route. An updated statement should be filed whenever your information changes between the regular filing periods, and sos.ca.gov publishes a schedule of the six-month filing window by month of incorporation or registration. RepeatForm prepares the PDF you check in the preview. It does not file anything with the Secretary of State. To file or find where to send it, use sos.ca.gov.

Several corporations, one set of details

If you run more than one California corporation, the people and addresses they share usually repeat from one statement to the next. Upload a completed SI-550 for one corporation and a blank SI-550 for another, and the matching officer, director, address and agent details carry over. The corporation name and entity number differ between corporations, so check and edit them in the review step before you preview.

Good to know

  • ✓You review every carried-over answer. RepeatForm does not guarantee the form is correct.
  • ✓The signature line and date are yours to complete. Check them in the preview and replace any that carried over from your completed copy.
  • ✓RepeatForm does not give legal advice and does not file anything with the Secretary of State.
  • ✓It works with digital, text-selectable PDFs only. Scans, photos and handwriting are not supported.
  • ✓Same or recent versions of the form work best. If the form has changed you may get fewer matches, so check the preview carefully and get the current form from sos.ca.gov.
  • ✓The labor judgment and email items are declarations about now. Confirm them each time rather than relying on your earlier answers.
  • ✓An online filing does not give you a typed SI-550 PDF, so RepeatForm cannot read answers from it.
