Before you send or go
- ✓The magistrates' court, family court and county court all use the George Street building, but the post addresses are not all the same. Civil and family post goes to Lancaster Court House. The other "write to us" address is Preston Magistrates' Court.
- ✓Phone numbers and inboxes are split by court. Civil queries have their own county court inbox, family queries have separate inboxes for divorce, listing and orders, and magistrates' court enquiries go through a separate service centre.
- ✓The counter is by appointment only, 10am to 2pm, which is shorter than the hours the court is open.
- ✓There is no public car parking at the court. The listing points to nearby council car parks.
